I don`t particularly progress well but then again, I have not particularly allowed myself a lot of time. I understand the Spanish from the CDs, but to speak it is a different story.
While I progress through the CDs on my way to and from work, I often think what a marvellous invention these language courses are!
Particularly in this country, where learning foreign language is not valued very highly at school, people often say: “I wish, I could speak a foreign language!” But there is often no time or money for evening classes.
Most people work (particularly those lacking time!) and usually, this means that you have to get there by car or bus. On the bus, I used to read, in the car, I used to listen to the radio or music CDs.
I think it`s a marvellous idea to use this hour to learn a language. Even if I won`t go far until the holidays, I may carry on…

Waehrend ich mich waehrend der Autofahrt zur und von der Arbeit durch die CDs arbeite, denke ich oft darueber nach was fuer eine wunderbare Erfindung solche Sprachkurse doch sind.
Insbesondere hier, wo in der Schule keinen grossen Wert darauf gelegt wird, wird oft geseufzt: “Ich wuenschte, ich koennte auch eine Fremdsprache!” Aber fuer einen Abendkurs fehlt leider die Zeit oder das Geld.
Arbeiten gehen die meisten (die keine Zeit haben jedenfalls!) und meist bedeutet das dass man sich dazu ins Auto oder in den Bus setzen muss. Im Bus habe ich immer gelesen, im Auto Radio oder Musik-CDs gehoert.
Diese Stunde dazu zu nutzen eine Sprache zu lernen ist doch irgendwie eine geniale Idee. Auch wenn ich es bis zum Urlaub wohl nicht mehr weit bringen werde, koennte ich mir vorstellen damit weiter zu machen…
